Billing questions
- What is a credit?
- A credit is one standard image. Heavier actions cost more — an editor action is 2 credits, a product shot or an HQ infographic is 3. The exact cost is shown before you run anything, and failed generations are never charged.
- Do credits roll over?
- No. Your balance resets to your plan's allowance at the start of each billing period, so unused credits don't accumulate. Plans are sized so that most people finish a month with room to spare.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. Signing up gives you 25 free credits with no card and no trial timer. You only enter payment details if you choose a paid plan.
- How do I cancel?
- Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing opens the customer portal, where cancelling takes one click. You keep access and your credits until the period you already paid for runs out.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes — contact us within 7 days of a charge and we refund in full, as long as no more than 10% of that period's credits have been used. The full terms are on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page.
- Who charges my card?
- Dodo Payments is our merchant of record, so your statement shows Dodo Payments rather than GenerateImages. They handle checkout, invoices and local tax.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Any time, in either direction. Upgrades take effect immediately with the new credit allowance; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
- Can I use the images commercially?
- Yes, on every plan including the free one — in products, ads, listings and client work, with no attribution and no per-use royalty.
